Philip is an architect, designer and artist working at the intersection of human emotion, form and existence.
With a background in architecture and experimental design, his work explores how inner states can be translated into sculptural, wearable forms. Rather than following trends or disciplines, his practice focuses on form as an extension of the human condition — intuitive, bodily and expressive.
After studying architecture in Germany and Austria, Philip contributed to a wide range of international projects before founding Utopia Blu as an independent design practice. His work has been exhibited internationally in museums, biennials and cultural institutions, and spans from experimental architecture to sculptural fashion objects.
At the core of his work lies a continuous investigation of presence, identity and transformation — using the human body as both reference and medium.
-
Alondside his practice, Philip has taught and lectured internationally, sharing experimental design approaches and research-based methodologies.
At the Hong Kong Design Institute, an innovative workshop and crossover studio brought together students from architecture, fashion design and jewelry design. This collaborative environment fostered the creation of a unique series of 3D printed fashion pieces.

Utopia Blu operates at the intersection of design, technology, performance and art, collaborating with specialists from diverse disciplines to explore new forms of expression.
